Brajbhoomi also known as Mathura is the land where Lord Shri Krishna was born and spent his youth period. The little towns and hamlets at this place are yet alive with the Krishna legend. The music of flute and mantras are spread everywhere in Mathura and Vrindavan. Mathura is a little town situated near the river Yamuna. Vrindavan is a village which is known for its perfumed groves. Vrindavan is the place where Lord Krishna spends the childhood of his life. Lots of other spots are available in the area that yet reverberates with the charm of Lord Shri Krishna.

Mathura City: Mathura City is situated in Uttar Pradesh (UP), and that is also a center part of Brajbhoomi. Mathura is located at good distance of 145 kms from Delhi and 58 km from Agra (the two well-known developed cities of India). Mathura is covered with land area of 3,800 sq km and Brajbhoomi can be alienated into two separate units one is Yamuna territory with places like Mat, Mahavan, Gokul, Baldeo and Bajna whereas the other one is a western side of the Yamuna covered with Vrindavan, Kusum Sarovar, Govardhan, Nandgaon and Barsana .

The land area of Brajbhoomi starts from Kotban, which is about 95 kms from Delhi and that ends at Runakuta. Runakuta is famous place and known for its connection with the big poet Surdas (a Lord Krishna devotee).

Vrindavan City: this city is just 15 kms away from Mathura. It is one more major spot of pilgrimage and very special place for devotees of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The numerous temples with old and modern technology are special to watch at this place. Vrindavan is the place where Lord Shri Krishna spends his childhood period and did education.

Interesting places to watch in Mathura:
SHRI KRISHNA (JANMA BHUMI) BIRTH PLACE: it is the place where Lord Krishna born so visitors can see the cage where Shri Krishna got birth. 
 
JAMA MASJID: This is another historical mosque constructed with the building of Krishna Temple. It was constructed by Aboin Nabir Khan in 1661 whereas it has become the major issue for Hindu and Muslim religion as the Mosque is made in the area of Temple and Fort of Hindu King and Uncle of Shri Krishna "KANSA." This mosque is, however, a good place to visit as it is having 4 lofty minarets with bright coloured plaster mosaic.

DWARKADHISH TEMPLE: This the Krishna temple built in 1814. This is the main temple of the town covered with big steps. This place becomes very special in the festive days of Holi, Diwali and Janmashthami.

VISHRAM GHAT: one of the sacred spot which is identified as the place where Lord Krishna has rested after assassination of King Kansa.

GITA MANDIR: This temple is located on the outskirts of city. This temple is famous for carving and painting on the walls.
Government MESEUM: this is another tourist spot of Mathura situated at Dampier Park. This museum is having finest collection of archaeological interest, and visitors can learn about the ancient period of Mathura.

Interesting places to watch in Vrindavan:
GOVIND DEV MANDIR: This is the temple constructed by King Man Singh of Jaipur in 1590. The splendour architecture of the temple is must watch a thing in this temple. The walls of the temple are approximately 10 ft thick. It was seven stories high where the upper 4 stories were damaged during the fight with of Aurangzeb the Muslim Ruler.
 

SHAHJI TEMPLE: This is one more Mandir constructed in the year 1860. This famous temple is known for its superior art architecture, statues and twelve single piece spiral columns.

RANG JI TEMPLE: This is the longest temple of Vrindavan, which was constructed in 1851 by Seth Laxmi Chand Ji and Govind Das ji.
MADAN MOHAN MALVIYA TEMPLE: this temple is situated near Kali's ghat, and it is supposed that the edifice of this temple is done by Kapur Ram Das of Multan.

ISKCON TEMPLE (KRISHNA BALRAM MANDIR): ISKCON is the International spiritual   organisation and there are more than 400 centers and offices around the world. This temple was founded by Bhakti Vedanta Guru Prabhupada. Devotees and pilgrims of Lord Krishna are reaching this temple frequently throughout the year. This is the beautiful temple of Lord Krishna and must-visit place for a tourist.

RADHAVALLABH TEMPLE: This is the temple constructed in 1626. Its special architectural is good thing to watch.

GLASS TEMPLE: the marvellous art of glass is best thing to watch at this temple.

GOPI NATH TEMPLE: This is another temple situated near the Madan Mohan mandir. The construction has done by Rai Shilji, a Sekhavat Rajput of Jaipur.

NIDHI VAN: This is the very important park of Vrindavan, which is known for Radhika's Kridasthali (playground of Shri Lord Krishna). Many religious feelings are attached with park as people believe Lord Krishna still come in this VAN in every night and do the Raslila.

SEVA KUNJ: This place is known as Krishna's Vihar Bhoomi.

BANKE BIHARI Temple: This is the oldest temple of Vrindavan, and it was reconstructed in 1921.
